I am sure you will be satisfied with your print. Should it fall below the standards expected of a fine art photographic print, return it to me in good condition within 30 days of receipt, and I will give you a full refund. If it arrived damaged, e-mail me and describe the damage before returning it within 30 days of receipt.

Archival Matting

Images are captured using a Nikon N90 film camera or a Nikon D750 full frame digital camera.  All images, regardless of the method of capture, are printed using an Epson SureColor P800 printer. Images are printed on 11″ x 14″ premium glossy photo paper and matted in a pH-balanced, acid free archival mat to 16″ x 20″. Print quality is extraordinary.

Artist’s Signature

In photographic prints, I find the artist’s signature, whether located on the border of the photograph or on the mat, to detract from the aesthetics of the piece. Therefore, all of my works are signed on the back of the photograph itself and on the backing of the piece, where it is visible if removed from the wall. My signature is not visible when viewing the piece.

Copyright and Licensing Rights

Copyright and licensing rights remain with the photographer. This means that you are not permitted to duplicate or publish an image or grant a publication license for an image to another party.

To aid safe handling, all works are shipped matted and unframed. Works are protected in plastic photography bags, placed between two stiff pieces of cardboard, sealed with tape and wrapped in shipping paper. This process keeps the piece from bending and keeps the elements out. Please allow 1 to 4 weeks for delivery depending upon print availability.

My photographs do not require elaborate and expensive frames to be beautiful. In fact, the less obtrusive the frame the better. While 16″ x 20″ is the perfect mat size to set off an 11″ x 14″ print, it is also a standard size for which a number of good quality ready-made frames are available. A simple black aluminum frame sets off the work very nicely. For exhibitions, I use Nielsen Bainbridge Gallery frames, which are approximately $65.
